Has the time arrived for the stock to break free from a range heading into earnings next week? There has been much hype around this emerging Swiss company that grew revenues by 68% in 2022, 46% in 2023, and are expected to grow revenues by more than 25% in 2024 and 2025. Technically speaking ,that range of overhead resistance for On Holding (ONON) is easy to see on the weekly chart below. There was weekly downtrend line resistance originating from the 2022 high that was broken in Q1 '24. On earnings ahead Heading into earnings, I think it's wise to refer back to Q4 of 2023 earnings announced on March 12.

Is the company re-inventing itself as one of the premier players in the AI server business? But there are headwinds that have the analyst community concerned about a moderate pullback in AI infrastructure spend by corporate management teams. Let's examine the weekly Relative Rotation Graph of 3 key hardware stocks Apple (AAPL), Super Micro Computer (SMCI), and Dell (DELL). Tesla recently made new yearly lows with no apparent support level in sight until another 30% lower at the early 2023 bottom of $101.81. We're heading into Q1 earnings this evening plagued with a plethora of negative news headlines clouding this stock. Tesla shareholders, me included, are coming to the realization that consumer appetite for electric vehicles combined with increased competition are significant headwinds for the stock. All that being said, the phrase "it's always darkest before the dawn" usually applies to beaten-down fundamental stories that are approaching technical support. If you look at the other metals like copper and steel and their associated stocks you'll see breakouts as well, and in fact, they are showing more strength than gold stocks. Looking at a chart of copper we'll see a clear breakout above the early 2023 high of $4.35 with the 2022 highs of $5.00 targeted. Fundamentally speaking copper is an industrial metal heavily needed in China and India for infrastructure, transportation, and the green energy buildout. 'Bull flag' pattern The way I'm expressing this bullish thesis in copper is through my holdings in Southern Copper Corp (SCCO) in the dividend portfolio at Inside Edge Capital. That's not exactly cheap, but with the forecasted global demand of copper we think that multiple is justified.

A flagship stock like Nvidia (NVDA) takes a month-long breather and many investors want to throw in the towel on the uptrend and say enough is enough. The last time we spoke about NVDA was on Feb 21st just before the earnings report, while I was on a ski vacation. Turning down to the 195-minute chart (that is a half-day chart), we can fine tune our entry on this idea. I added a one-half position size to our short-term Active Opportunities portfolio with stops just below the $832 low. CNN —As of Monday, about half a million fast food workers in California are making at least $20 per hour, $4 higher than the overall state minimum wage. This council can also recommend standards for fast-food worker safety and work with existing state agencies to investigate issues like wage theft. Mendelsohn, who owns six El Pollo Loco locations, has long championed workers’ rights, including helping trans workers connect with jobs. “I just wish it was being done over a longer period of time and it wasn’t just fast food,” Mendelsohn said. Additionally, they hope the council can discus fair working conditions, including wage theft, excessive heat and violence at work.

Arm Holdings is a UK-based semiconductor and software design company that has been around for quite some time and been through multiple corporate events, changes of ownership and multiple large investors. The majority shareholder of Arm (ARM) is Japanese conglomerate Softbank, which bought the company in 2016 before taking it public again on the Nasdaq in 2023. The stock formed a base into March, held $120-area support and is now mounting another attack after breaking the gray dotted downtrend resistance/trigger level at $135. I do not yet hold the stock, but I am looking to add to our holdings at current levels and will require the stock to remain above that $135 breakout level now serving as support. Is the breakout from resistance likely and should you consider allocating exposure to this basket of 2000 small capitalization stocks? I think the breakout should occur, but I don't think we should increase exposure to the Russell 2000 for two reasons. Ideally the rotation was going to carry through into the upper-right green quadrant indicating confirmed outperformance relative to the S & P 500. I'm not saying we shun small caps all together and continue to focus on the large caps. We need to focus on fundamentally sound small cap companies and we can do so through the Pacer US Small Cap Cash Cows 100 ETF (CALF) .

He said at the Bitcoin Investor Day conference that his advice to clients is to "act like you're dead." "So act like you're dead with your bitcoin and don't sell your bitcoin. That occurrence, industry experts say, could create a supply shock and ultimately push the price of bitcoin higher.

The lines between climate tech and infrastructure startups have become increasingly blurred. Investments in infrastructure startups over time. Permitting remains a massive roadblock for climate projects and modularity can be one way to "get around some of those hurdles," added Ben Wolkon, partner at MUUS Climate Partners. Modular tech can also be distributed and containerized, with some startups hoping to roll out with partners on-site. It's not just industrial startups that are going modular and distributed — it encompasses carbon capture, water filtration, food systems, and energy, said Regeneration.VC's Hoffman.

If you want to understand how different the human and animal medicine and vaccine industries have historically been, you don't need to look much further than weight loss drugs. When Pfizer spun off its animal health business in 2013 creating Zoetis, about 65% of the company's business was livestock-related. That has flipped now, with 64% of the company's revenue coming from products for companion animals like cats and dogs. Peck credits the Pfizer spinoff for allowing Zoetis to better balance what the company wanted to do in animal health versus the human health side. A similar product was approved for cats, marking the first time that monoclonal antibody treatments, which have become increasingly popular for treating human illnesses, have been used to treat pet osteoarthritis pain.
